3D projections On Buildings - Spectacular!

Spectacular examples of 3D projections on buildings.  Enjoy!
What is the technology of these projections?  What kind of buildings can they be done on?  The premiere company for this kind of work is Nuformer in the Netherlands.

There are many obstacles to overcome in order to produce such spectacular sights, the most formidable being a license from the city.  Some cities, mostly in Europe have can give permits for this quickly.  Others, like New York City, make it almost impossible to obtain such licenses.  The design process from start to finish, not including the license is anywhere from 6-8 weeks.**

Buildings made of glass are not suitable for these projections, since the projection goes through the glass, even if some reflective material is placed behind the glass.  Ideal buildings  are those made of a light colored stone or concrete.  The projectors can cover an area of 30x20 meters at a distance of 200 meters from the building.  The projections can only take place at night.  Somtimes, Nuformer teams up with Mookx, a 3D animation studio in Amsterdam.  In the United States, Nuformer has worked with Creative Technology USA.

Those are nice.  I really enjoyed watching those videos. I think a 3D projection of a building is a really nice concept.

Does anyone know how to do this? I am a 3d artist and iv been asked to help on a project involving 3D projection on a building, but I have no idea how to go about doing so.
